The Remains of the Night

In what was definitely an unexpected essay and topic, Elizabeth used media to help add to her piece. While starting off about her pre-lived running paths, she talks about the location in which used to do so. Using very vivid and beautiful pictures, readers can identify with where she was and how the scenery actually looked as apposed to simply thinking of a place known to them.

When she mentions things, she vividly describes them. From the mention of drugs to simple trash, she even shows actually images of what they are and how they were found making readers feel as if they are part of the group. She also includes facts about litter to inform her statements and things she is discussing.

I think the map showing where exactly the park is also is useful in establishing location in relevance to the city.
